Guest:

Rico Tessandore, candidate for Snohomish County Superior Court, Pos.3.  Rico stated that heÕs been endorsed by the three legislators of the 38th Legislative District and County Councilman Dunshee. He worked for 10 years in the prosecutorÕs office, and then did civil defense work for 10 years. Rico stated that the Judicial Code of Conduct prevents him from talking about his political beliefs but his record speaks for itself. He believes that the law must be fair to all, not just the privileged and rich, and must be applied evenly across the board. He asked for the Labor CouncilÕs endorsement.

Gordy Sibley, candidate for PUD Commissioner, Third District. Gordy stated heÕs worked as a mechanic for 28 years. HeÕs been a union member and shop steward. He added he was raised in Snohomish. He stated he hopes he can bring common sense to the utilities board. Jake Morgan, IBEW 77, told the delegates that he asked Gordy to come and speak adding that his union supports Gordy.

Hans Dunshee, candidate for Snohomish County Council, District 5. Hans commented that it is good to be home and that he was here to ask for an endorsement. He said the Labor Council didnÕt Òdivorce himÓ in 20 years in the Legislature and he appreciates it. He also said is going to be nice to be working with a smaller group with a higher potential to accomplish things. Hans concluded by saying he would love our endorsement.

A five-minute break was taken so the delegates had an opportunity to speak to the guests.
